Players are advised to start with an assault rifle to get comfortable before switching to the lower‑damage submachine gun, particularly if the goal is to maximise the score. A couple of shots from the submachine gun rarely prove lethal; the typical strategy relies on its suppression effect to compel enemies to surrender.

Besides handguns, every other weapon class offers a non‑lethal variant. Assault rifles and submachine guns are equipped with tear‑gas launchers that emit a small cloud of tear gas upon impact. Shotguns fire pure projectiles; they are most effective when the target is within approximately 5–6 body lengths.
