Responding to strong player demand, the PEAK development team finally delivered a long‑awaited update that introduces a brutal survival choice when you and your companions find yourself stranded on an island with supplies running low.

Although the idea sounds absurd, the new version of PEAK actually adds a cannibalism system. If you’re willing to pay any price—including the life of a teammate—in order to reach the summit, this update is meant for you.
The developer, AGGRO CRAB, overturned its previous claim that cannibalism would never be added with a simple statement of "fine" on social media. Apart from localizations in Polish and Turkish and routine fixes, the most eye‑catching addition is a mysterious "third change".

When hunger reaches more than 60% of your health bar, hallucinations turn your companions into giant turkeys. Approaching them presents a "feed" option. If the other player is also hungry, whoever fills their "eating progress bar" first will devour the other. Community test posts suggest that it’s even possible for both parties to eat each other at the same time, creating a bizarre scene.
