Earlier this year, EA announced that Respawn Entertainment is developing three new Star Wars titles, including a sequel to 'Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order.' Fans had been looking forward to an announcement at the summer EA Play livestream, but the event was recently called off.

According to industry journalist Jeff Grubb, 'Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order 2' is slated for a May reveal during the annual Star Wars Celebration. The event had been postponed multiple times due to the pandemic.
In a recent podcast episode, Grubb said, "We will hear about this game at the Star Wars Celebration in May. That will be its launch moment, so stay tuned."
The 2022 Star Wars Celebration was scheduled for May 26-29 in Anaheim, California.
Earlier, prominent source Tom Henderson also hinted that 'Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order 2' might debut in May and see release in Q4 of this year.
