Krafton, the parent company of PUBG, recently announced it would acquire the dark‑fantasy game "Last Epoch" and its developer Eleventh Hour Games. At the same time, the firm is embroiled in a $250 million lawsuit involving the leadership of the team behind its newly acquired indie title "Deep Sea Odyssey 2".

Nevertheless, the lead of "Last Epoch" isn't worried about a similar situation. Judd Cobler, founder and game director at Eleventh Hour Games, answered a fan on a forum, saying the team is "aware of the situation involving the studio behind the Deep Sea Odyssey series, Unknown Worlds."
He added, "I would prefer not to comment directly, but after investigating, this has nothing to do with our partnership. There's a lot of misinformation or incomplete information from all sides. Nevertheless, I appreciate your concern—thank you."

Recently, the former head of Unknown Worlds, recently dismissed, and the new owner of the company, Krafton, sparked a massive, chaotic legal dispute. The previous studio leaders accused Krafton of sabotaging the early‑access release of the survival game to avoid paying a $250 million bonus. Krafton, however, maintains that the dismissal of those three individuals was simply because they had long neglected the project.
