Behaviour Interactive announced the cancellation of the derivative work "Project T" from "Dead by Daylight".

The game, which supports 1‑4 players in a co‑op PVE shooting format, was unveiled in May. Players take on the role of intruders—ferocious characters trapped in an uncharted area called "Dead Water" within the realm of the entity.
Early development was handled by Midwinter Entertainment, a studio acquired by Behaviour Interactive in 2022 following the release of its first title "Scavengers".
During the conceptual phase of "Project T", the team aimed to involve players as early as possible, leading to the creation of an Insiders Program internal testing schedule, the developer stated on Tuesday.
This approach allowed early validation of core design and gameplay, typically refined throughout production. After in‑game testing in July, a comprehensive internal risk assessment from product and business perspectives was conducted.
