Rocksteady and Warner Bros. Games announced on Twitter that the first season of "Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League" will launch on March 28, featuring the Joker as a playable character.

In an earlier trailer, game director Johnny Armstrong revealed that this Joker comes from a "parallel universe", promising to cooperate more than the Mark Hamill version from the Arkham series, while still maintaining its own brand of madness.
The game currently enjoys mostly positive reviews on Steam and seems to have a loyal player base, yet the overall community sentiment is negative. Since its launch, the peak concurrent player count reached about 13,000, and today only roughly 500 players remain active, leaving uncertainty whether the first season will restore interest.
