The End of the Sun Team, an indie studio, today announced a free demo for their upcoming first‑person exploration adventure, The End of the Sun.
The demo will launch on Steam on January 24, 2023, offering a limited portion of the game that spans roughly 50–60 minutes.
According to its Steam store description, The End of the Sun is a narrative‑driven first‑person exploration adventure set amidst Slavic rites, beliefs, and folklore. The story revolves around a quaint village that becomes the epicenter of mysterious events, where the boundary between myth and reality frays.

Players take on the role of Ashter, a Slavic sorcerer who can travel through time and possesses deep knowledge of Navia, a world that shapes human destiny. Following clues left by an unusual fugitive, Ashter arrives at a secluded village. Unfortunately, no inhabitants are found – at least not in the expected form – and all that remains are charred hearths.
The gameplay blends exploration and adventure mechanics, requiring players to tackle unconventional puzzles, yet the story remains the central focus.
