Ghost Ship Games has released a teaser for the PlayStation version of the sci‑fi shooter Deep Rock Galactic, which will launch on PS4 and PS5 on January 4.
The game first appeared as a beta on February 28, 2018, and after two years of testing the PC/Xbox One edition was released on May 13, 2020. In January it will also be offered as a free PS Plus title.
About the Game
Deep Rock Galactic is a multiplayer, cooperative, sci‑fi first‑person shooter that puts you in the boots of a dwarf exploring alien caves. The world is fully destructible, procedurally generated, and teeming with hostile alien creatures. • 1‑4 player co‑op • Four distinct roles: Gunner (front‑line firepower), Scout (path‑finding and illumination), Driller (breaching rock), Engineer (defensive structures and turrets) • No fixed routes – build your own paths through the caves • Procedurally generated cave networks ensure a new layout each playthrough • Advanced weaponry including flamethrowers, Gatling guns, portable launchers, and more • Light sources are essential to navigate the pitch‑black underground
