Bohemia Interactive, the studio behind the tactical shooter Arma 3, has revealed the release date for its latest DLC, Contact, and has opened it for pre‑purchase on Steam.
In the new DLC, players assume the role of a soldier deployed to the militarized zone of Livonia, specifically Naddovol, where they are tasked with studying extraterrestrial visitors and discerning their motives. During their investigation and surveillance, clashes between the aliens and humanity become inevitable. To protect Earth’s citizens, the player must stay focused on the mission and confront the alien threat.
The expansion introduces an entirely new faction, alongside a suite of fresh weapons, vehicles, uniforms, equipment, and more. The 163‑square‑kilometre area in the game features a variety of structures and terrains, and players will need to employ the new gear to fight powerful enemies within this region.
